Chicago-based Lexington Homes announces the opening of its sales center for Lexington Village at Rob Roy, a community of 15 new-construction rowhomes in northwest-suburban Prospect Heights.

Located at the northeast corner of Euclid Avenue and Route 83 at 215 S. Elmhurst Rd in Prospect Heights, the sales center is right across from the Randhurst Village outdoor shopping complex and just half a mile west of Lexington Village at Rob Roy, which is located at 360 Country Club Dr.

The first rowhomes for Lexington Village at Rob Roy will be delivered in late spring. The three-story, 2½-bath homes include a two-car garage and family room on the lower level; a living room, dining room and kitchen on the second floor; and two to three bedrooms, including a master bedroom suite, on the third floor. One of the three floor plan designs also includes a den. Based priced from $262,900, homes will measure 1,605 to 1,913 square feet.

“We are building the same floor plans at Lexington Park in Des Plaines, so homebuyers can walk through three similar, fully decorated models at Lexington Park, located about 10 minutes from the sales center,” said Jeff Benach, co-principal of Lexington Homes. “This means buyers don’t have to wait to see the finished product at Lexington Village at Rob Roy because they can tour these models now.”

The rowhomes at Lexington Village at Rob Roy feature the kind of high-end finishes that buyers expect in a home in this area, said Benach.

“We are including a lot of brick on the exterior, as well as large windows, shutters and wood trim, which are elements not normally found on the exteriors of rowhomes,” Benach said. “On the interior, kitchens will feature granite countertops, GE stainless steel appliances and wood flooring. The foyers and bathrooms will have ceramic-tile flooring.”

The new community marks the end to a long history for Lexington Homes at the Rob Roy site. “We’re building on the last parcel at Rob Roy Country Club Village,” Benach said. “We are the original builder and began there 30 years ago. It’s the last opportunity to get into this beautiful location.”

The new rowhomes at Lexington Village at Rob Roy will be adjacent to a nine-hole golf course. Set amid mature trees and abundant open space, many of the first deliveries at the community will have balconies overlooking the pond. A walking path around the community also attaches to the sidewalks of Rob Roy Country Club Village.

“You’ve got the prestige of having Rob Roy Golf Course walkable from your front door and the convenience of Randhurst Village, which was recently redeveloped with all new restaurants and stores, just a half mile away,” Benach said. “Randhurst Village is now an impressive brand new, high-tech California-style outdoor shopping center.”

Proximity to Route 53, I-294 and I-90 as well as public transportation also makes commuting easy. Regularly running Pace buses take residents throughout the area or to the Prospect Heights Metra station, just a half a mile away from the community.

Also, students at Lexington Village at Rob Roy will attend the highly regarded John Hersey High School. “The community is the perfect match for a young family or active adults,” Benach said.

Directions to the sales center at 215 S. Elmhurst Rd (located at the corner of Euclid and Route 83), Prospect Heights: from 294 North, exit Dempster West, stay right and merge onto Rand Road north, turn right on Elmhurst Road; from 294 South, exit Willow Road West, turn left on Milwaukee/River Road, turn right on Euclid and travel approximately 15 minutes; from 53 North or South, exit Euclid East, travel approximately 20 minutes. The sales center is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and later by appointment.
