Lexington Homes Starts Sales at Lexington Oaks of Palatine

Chicago-based Lexington Homes announces that two new townhome communities are open in northwest-suburban Palatine. Lexington Hills of Palatine offers 41 townhomes in north Palatine at Lake Cook Road and Route 12. Lexington Oaks of Palatine offers 15 townhomes near downtown Palatine. Now accepting sales for both communities.
Located on Lake Cook Road a quarter mile west of the intersection of Lake Cook Road and Route 12, Lexington Hills of Palatine will be near Deer Park Town Center shopping complex and adjacent to Deer Grove Forest Preserve. The community will offer two-story townhomes in three floor plan designs with three bedrooms, 2½ baths, basements and two-car garages. Some homes feature lookout or walkout basements, while all include large backyards with patios and/or rear decks. Based-priced from $299,990, homes will measure 1,700 to 1,900 square feet.
Located on Northwest Highway/Route 14 a quarter mile west of Smith Road and a half mile east of Quentin Road, Lexington Oaks of Palatine will be on a wooded site near downtown Palatine, less than a mile from Palatine’s central business district along Northwest Highway and the Palatine Metra station. The community will offer two-story townhomes in two floor plan designs with two to three bedrooms, 2½ baths, basements and two-car garages. One floor plan features a first-floor master bedroom suite. Both designs offer large backyards and decks. Based-priced from $336,990, homes will measure approximately 1,684 to 1,817 square feet.
“Both of these communities are in great locations, whether you want the convenience and urban suburban feel of being in downtown Palatine to be near the Metra, restaurants and shopping or you want the more suburban, outdoorsy feel of being near the recreation of a major forest preserve and all the entertainment at Deer Park Town Center,” said Jeff Benach, co-principal of Lexington Homes.
“Also, these homes are a tremendous value for a modern new construction home with great finishes and features,” he added. “There are only a limited number of homes at both communities, so interested buyers should contact us now. Pricing will only go up after we start sales in mid-August.”
Benach added that Palatine appeals to a mix of homebuyers, from first-time buyers to families to empty-nesters. With a population of 68,000, it is located in north Cook County, just 30 miles from Chicago’s Loop and 14 miles from O’Hare International Airport.
“The area has a unique mix of residential, commercial and office space, surrounded by parks and open space that provide a tranquil atmosphere,” Benach added. “Location is more important than ever in today’s market, and both of these new communities are located in the kind of transit-oriented areas buyers are seeking. We’re near a Metra station and major commuter corridors like I-90, I-290, Route 53 and Route 12.”
Homes at Lexington Hills of Palatine will feature a high level of finishes, including kitchens with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and 42-inch cabinetry and baths with ceramic tile surrounds and floors, granite vanities and furniture-quality cabinetry. Main living levels will feature hardwood flooring and 9-foot ceilings. Options include finishing basements and adding fireplaces and second-floor computer desk niches.

Just to the south is the 1,800-acre Deer Grove Forest Preserve, which offers hiking trails, a tobbagon slide and a model airfield. Just to the north, Deer Park Town Center features brand-name stores, restaurants and the Century Cinema Theater.
“This section of north-suburban Palatine is very popular for its proximity to outdoor recreation and exceptional shopping,” said Benach. “And, these homes are perfect for buyers looking for a modern floor plan located in a plush, natural setting with mature trees and green space all around. And, the rolling terrain is an unusual for a townhome community, but offers a nice touch with added curb appeal.”
Homes at Lexington Oaks of Palatine also will feature high level of finishes, including kitchens with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and 42-inch cabinetry and baths with ceramic tile surrounds and floors, granite vanities and furniture-quality cabinetry. Main living levels will feature hardwood flooring and 9-foot ceilings. Options are available for finishing basements and adding desks and extra storage in kitchens. Buyers can also upgrade to larger decks and patios.
Homebuyers at Lexington Oaks will be close to shops, dining and the Metra in downtown Palatine, as well as recreation at the nearby Inverness Golf Club and Palatine Hills Golf Course, as well as the Palatine Prairie Nature Preserve.
“Lexington Oaks will offer an unusual combination of an in-town address along with the natural setting of a rolling, wooded location,” said Benach. “And these smart floor plans are packed with extras like coat closets, pantries, peninsula bars and storage closets.”
Both communities are served by the renowned Community Consolidated School District 15, as well as Township High School District 211.
